  Peter J. Novello
President

Peter Novello founded the Far Hills Group in 1990.  He has over 20 years of experience in placing assets from institutions, both domestic and international, into a variety of alternative investment vehicles.  Prior to the formation of the Far Hills Group, Mr. Novello was the Vice President and Director of Marketing for Brookehill Equities in New York.  Mr. Novello joined Brookehill to restructure the alternative product offerings for the US institutional marketplace, and then to place assets into those funds.  From 1986 to 1988, Mr. Novello was the Vice President in charge of Marketing for Atalanta Sosnoff Capital, a $5 billion investment advisory firm.  He directed a marketing team that focused primarily on large US institutional investors.  Mr. Novello played a key role in increasing assets at the firm by over $2 billion during his tenure.  From 1984 to 1986, Mr. Novello was in charge of large bank relationships in the US and Canada for SEI Corporation, which at the time was the largest pension consulting firm in the US  Mr. Novello’s earlier career included consulting and sales positions at Martin Marietta Corporation and Sperry Univac (now UNISYS).  Mr. Novello is a member of the Board of Trustees at Monmouth University, Monmouth Medical Center, and the Rumson Country Day School.  Mr. Novello has previously served on the boards of The New Jersey Commerce and Economic Growth Commission, The Foodbank, The Monmouth Conservation Foundation and Monmouth Healthcare Foundation. Mr. Novello holds a BA degree from Rutgers University.

  Geoffrey Mack
Managing Director – North American Practice

Geoffrey S. Bradshaw-Mack joined Far Hills Group in 1994 to focus on marketing Far Hills Group’s funds to US institutions.  Since 1985, Mr. Mack has held marketing positions with investment management firms and has extensive experience working with a wide array of alternative investments.  Prior to joining Far Hills Group, Mr. Mack was Director of Marketing at Askin Capital Management, a $660 million mortgage-backed securities hedge fund.  Prior to that, from 1991 to 1992, Mr. Mack was Vice President of Marketing for Columbus Circle Investors, an institutional investment company with assets of $6 billion.  From 1985 to 1990, Mr. Mack was Director of Marketing and Principal at Paramount Capital Group (“PCG”).  PCG managed $440 million and specialized in various option-hedged equity strategies for taxable corporate clients, including Con Edison, NCR and Pacificorp.  In addition, PCG managed an options-based risk arbitrage partnership.  Mr. Mack holds a BS in Foreign Service with a concentration in International Economics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.

  Mike Halvorson
Managing Director – International Practice

Mike Halvorson joined Far Hills Group in 1998 to focus primarily on international institutions and family offices.  Prior to joining Far Hills Group, Mr. Halvorson served with Chase Manhattan Private Bank in New York as head of the Europe, Asia and Middle East Group, managing a team of 25 private banking professionals focusing on these three regions. The team supported high net worth families with an aggregate of over $2.5 billion in assets at Chase.  During Mr. Halvorson’s tenure, the group developed a strong expertise in introducing hedge fund, private equity and structured investment allocations to client portfolios. During 13 years at Chase, Mr. Halvorson filled several senior roles in the Private Bank, supporting high net worth families’ financial needs around the globe.  His tenure at Chase included multiple assignments in Hong Kong and New York, as well as a posting on the Indian subcontinent. Mr. Halvorson holds an MBA in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), specializing in International Finance. He earned a BA in Business Administration and a BS in Engineering from Washington State University.

  Seth H. Wohlberg, CFA, CAIA
Managing Director – North American Practice

Seth H. Wohlberg joined Far Hills Group in 2001 to expand the firm’s North American marketing efforts. Prior to joining Far Hills Group, Mr. Wohlberg was Director of Alternative Investment Marketing at ING Group, where he was responsible for marketing the firm’s alternative investment products to the institutional and family office markets.  In that role, he established the firm’s presence in the institutional community and raised assets under management.  Mr. Wohlberg was previously a Senior Vice President at CDC Investment Management Corp., where he marketed the firm’s absolute return strategies to institutional investors in the US, Canada, and Europe.  Prior to joining CDC Investments in May 1996, Mr. Wohlberg was a Managing Director at Bear Stearns Asset Management, where he managed mortgage-backed product development and fixed-income marketing.  Previously, he was Vice President of Fixed-Income of Columbus Circle Investors where he was a portfolio manager for pension and mutual fund portfolios.  Mr. Wohlberg started his investment career as a fixed income trader at the Investment Center Inc. a subsidiary of ING Group, located in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Wohlberg received his MBA in Finance from Emory University and his BS from the State University of New York at Albany.

  David Tarifi, CFA
Managing Director, Sales - North American Practice

David Tarifi joined Far Hills Group in 2003 to augment the firm's sales efforts to institutional investors in North America. Prior to joining Far Hills Group, Mr. Tarifi was an Institutional Salesman for the Center for Financial Research & Analysis (CFRA) where he was responsible for selling forensic accounting and quality of earnings research to hedge and mutual funds. Prior to joining CFRA, Mr. Tarifi was employed by Alliance Capital where he spent five years as an equity research analyst acting as a generalist, as well as managing five investment strategies for high net worth individuals. Mr. Tarifi began his career as a pension fund consultant at Barra RogersCasey. In that role, he was responsible for researching and analyzing money managers across asset classes and strategies. Mr. Tarifi received his BS in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.

 
  Omar R. Allam, MBA
Managing Director - International Practice

Omar Allam joined Far Hills Group in 2004 to enhance the firm's marketing efforts to international institutions and family offices. Previously, Mr. Allam was a Project Director at The Euro-China Group, an internationally recognized global strategic consulting boutique responsible for over $8 Billion of foreign direct investment into China. In addition to his duties as Project Director, Mr. Allam focused on the firm's direct investments in infrastructure projects in China and Russia. Prior to joining Euro-China, Mr. Allam was a Senior Associate at Spencer Trask Ventures, where he was responsible for evaluating the firm's direct investments, as well as managing the firm's private placement offerings in the Telecom and Biotechnology sectors.  Mr. Allam began his career as an investment banker with Robert W. Baird, where he executed a wide variety of corporate finance, merger and acquisition, and financial advisory/underwriting transactions. Mr. Allam received his MBA from IMD ("International Institute for Management Development") and his BA in Economics from The University of Chicago. In addition, Mr. Allam holds a General Course degree in Economics from The London School of Economics. Mr. Allam is a member of The Arab Bankers Association of North America as well as The Arab Bankers Association of Europe.

  Christopher Fields
Vice President, Sales - North American Practice

Christopher Fields joined Far Hills Group in 2008 to broaden the firm’s sales and marketing efforts to institutional investors in North America.  Prior to joining Far Hills Group, Mr. Fields was an Associate at The Silverfern Group where he participated in merchant banking activities including mergers and acquisition transactions, private equity co-investments, private equity and hedge fund fundraising and interacted with the firms’ clients and prospects.  Prior to joining The Silverfern Group, Chris spent four years in merchant banking at The Blackstone Group in New York, where as a member of the Blackstone Research Group he focused on analyzing and researching information regarding investments and advisory assignments for the Private Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions, Real Estate, Mezzanine, Restructuring and Fund of Funds Groups.  Mr. Fields received his BS in Finance from Georgetown University.

 
  Paulo Pereira
Vice President, Sales - International Practice

Paulo Pereira joined Far Hills Group in 2009 to grow the firm’s sales and marketing efforts to institutional investors and family offices in Latin America, Western Europe, and Australasia.  Prior to joining Far Hills Group, Mr. Pereira was Vice President of Australia Equity Sales at Citigroup in New York, where he brokered Australian equities to U.S. hedge funds, mutual funds, and pension funds, with a focus on commodity-related companies in the mining and energy sectors.  Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Pereira was an analyst for Fiduciary Trust Co. International, a New York-based subsidiary of Franklin Templeton, where his team was responsible for managing $2 billion in assets across various International Small-Mid Cap Equity strategies.  Mr. Pereira’s duties included modeling and trading Australian equities as well as global energy, mining, and basic materials stocks.  Mr. Pereira began his career in various consulting and analyst roles at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York in 2001.  Mr. Pereira received his BA from Yale University and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.  Mr. Pereira is a director of the board at the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce in New York.

 
  Nicole Belmont, CAIA
Vice President - Director of Research

Nicole Belmont joined the Far Hills Group in 2001 to expand the firm's product development and research activities. Her responsibilities include analyzing and sourcing new managers and strategies, conducting due diligence, and spearheading the firm's interaction with the consultant community. In her role as the firm’s gatekeeper, Ms. Belmont routinely meets with private equity and hedge fund managers, and analyzes their ability to raise institutional assets. Prior to joining Far Hills Group, Ms. Belmont was employed by ING Furman Selz Asset Management (IFSAM) where she was responsible for research and market analysis that supported their alternative investment platform, ING Alternative Asset Management. In that role, she was responsible for developing and creating marketing materials focused on manager differentiation, quantitative analysis, client reporting, and interacting with both the consultant and hedge fund database communities. Prior to joining IFSAM in February 2000, Ms. Belmont was employed by Mainstay Mutual Funds as a Marketing Associate where she was responsible for developing programs to enhance sales productivity within the broker/dealer distribution channel. Ms. Belmont received her MBA in Marketing from Pace University and her BS from Manhattan College.

 
  Richard Onesto
Chief Financial Officer

Richard Onesto joined Far Hills Group in 2006 as our new Chief Financial Officer. From 2001 to 2006 Mr. Onesto was the CFO and Financial and Operations Principal for Enskilda Securities Inc. In that role, he was responsible for managing the finance and regulatory functions of the firm. He acted as a liaison between the U.S. broker dealer and the home office in Stockholm, Sweden on accounting, regulatory and compliance issues. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Onesto worked for Prime Charter where he was responsible for preparing and analyzing the financial statements, as well as preparing the firms regulatory filings. Mr. Onesto received a BBA in Accounting and Taxation from Pace University. In addition, Mr. Onesto has the Series 7, 24, and 27 licenses.

 
  Dee Bongiovi
Director of Operations – Operations Management

Dee Bongiovi joined Far Hills Group in 2002 to manage the business and operational components of the firm. From 1996 to 2002, Ms. Bongiovi was with CDC Investment Management Corp. where she was Manager of Marketing Administration, responsible for servicing clients and prospects and acting as a liaison between the marketing department and the compliance officer. In that role, she developed and implemented the client reporting process and oversaw the marketing and client service support staff. From 1984 to 1996, Ms. Bongiovi was employed by Bear, Stearns & Co. in several capacities, including Marketing Coordinator with Bear Stearns Asset Management, where she worked closely with the sales team and was responsible for client and prospect presentation materials, RFPs and consultant relations. From 1979 to 1984, Ms. Bongiovi was with Merrill Lynch Asset Management as an Administrative Assistant. Ms. Bongiovi received her A.A.S. in Business Administration/Management from Kaplan University.
 
  Keith Chan, CAIA
Research Associate

Keith Chan joined Far Hills Group in 2004 to assist in the firm’s research efforts. His responsibilities include market research, developing marketing materials, maintaining internal fund databases and performing quantitative fund analysis. Mr. Chan joined Far Hills Group in 2004. While studying at NYU, Mr. Chan interned at Axa Advisors, LLC. Mr. Chan received his BA in Mathematics and Economics from New York University in 2004.
 
  Elizabeth Jaeger
Senior Administrator

Elizabeth Jaeger joined Far Hills Group in 2006 to support the Financial/Operations group.  From 2004 to 2006, Mrs. Jaeger was employed by Skyline Displays Manhattan, a trade show solutions provider, with responsibilities that included supporting the top-ranking sales consultant on small and large-scale projects.  Prior to joining Skyline, Mrs. Jaeger worked as the Senior Executive Assistant for Medsite.com, Inc. where she worked closely with the 4 founders of the once start-up Internet entity, recently acquired by WebMD.  In 1996, Mrs. Jaeger moved to San Marcos, TX where she worked for Wide-Lite as a customer service representative, then relocated to Austin to work as the Novell DeveloperNetTM  Program Administrator at MagRabbit® Inc. until she moved back to New York in 1999.  In addition, Mrs. Jaeger is a licensed Notary Public for New York County.
 
  Linda Jacobs
Administrative Assistant

Linda Jacobs joined the Far Hills Group in May 2005 to assist in supporting the firm’s International Practice. From 1996 to 2005, Ms. Jacobs was employed by The Journal News, a Gannett Co. publication, in Westchester County.   During her tenure, she functioned as the Administrative Coordinator to the National Advertising Director overseeing the day to day administrative operations of the National Advertising department while also working on special projects. Earlier in her career, Ms. Jacobs held positions as Customer Service Manager for MCI and Retail Sales Manager for Saks Fifth Avenue. She recently received certification as an instructor for the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, a program that teaches adolescents ages 11 to 18 how to set up and run their own businesses.

 
  Jaquilyn Schraeder
Receptionist

Jaquilyn Schraeder joined Far Hills Group in 2009 as a Receptionist, as well as to support the organization’s North American practice. Prior to Far Hills Group, Ms. Schraeder was Manager of Reception at Open Text Corporation in New York City where she assisted the legal division’s team members. In 2006, Ms. Schraeder had been employed at United Jewish Appeal Federation, a non-profit organization, where her responsibilities included organizing fund-raising priorities and collaborating with top staff members. Ms. Schraeder attended Arizona State University with a focus in Psychology and looks forward to continuing her studies in New York.
