Omar R. Allam, MBA

Omar Allam joined Far Hills Group in 2004 to enhance the firm's marketing efforts to international institutions and family offices. Previously, Mr. Allam was a Project Director at The Euro-China Group, an internationally recognized global strategic consulting boutique responsible for more than $8 billion of foreign direct investment into China. In addition to his duties as Project Director, Mr. Allam focused on the firm's direct investments in infrastructure projects in China and Russia. Prior to joining Euro-China, Mr. Allam was a Senior Associate at Spencer Trask Ventures, where he was responsible for evaluating the firm's direct investments, as well as managing the firm's private placement offerings in the Telecom and Biotechnology sectors.  Mr. Allam began his career as an investment banker with Robert W. Baird, where he executed a wide variety of corporate finance, merger and acquisition, and financial advisory/underwriting transactions. Mr. Allam received his MBA from IMD ("International Institute for Management Development") and his BA in Economics from The University of Chicago. In addition, Mr. Allam holds a General Course degree in Economics from The London School of Economics. Mr. Allam is a member of The Arab Bankers Association of North America as well as The Arab Bankers Association of Europe.
